I view and conduct myself first as an educator, to help inform my clients so they are empowered to make sound decisions, and second, as a trusted guide and consultant who is always looking out for my client’s best interests. By listening to my client’s needs and goals, and then sharing my experience and expertise, I work with integrity to assist my clients in making the best informed decisions to meet their real estate needs and goals.

I am a second generation Real Estate Broker. My father, Harlin D. Peterson, was a very well respected Real Estate Broker and owner of an independent real estate brokerage in Bothell until he retired in 1981. I licensed in 1985 and, with over 25 years of real estate experience, I have educated and successfully helped many buyers and sellers reach their real estate goals.

In addition to 25 years of helping others, I have a great deal of firsthand real estate experience. At age 27, I purchased 2.5 acres, short platted the property into 2 lots, sold one lot and then had a home built on the other lot. Since this first real estate purchase, my wife Jessica and I have purchased, sold and/or still own a variety of properties, including a Lake Sammamish townhouse, Skykomish ski cabin, a 6 unit apartment building, 2 homes on 58 acres, a rental home, and eleven 20 acres lots. We are living in our “dream home” which we built in 2007 on one of those 20 acre lots. In addition, after Jessica and I purchased the 2 homes on 58 acres in 2002, I succeeded in obtaining preliminary plat approval in 2005 for a rural cluster development that included dedicated open space and 25 one+ acre lots. I then marketed and sold the plat to a regional developer who completed the final plat into a highly desirable neighborhood of fine homes in the Monroe area.

If you decide that you want a broker that has the philosophy and the wealth of experience highlighted above, you will be hard pressed to find a broker as committed to you, and to helping you reach your real estate goals, than myself.

I am committed to my clients. Most come to me by referral from friends, family, and past clients. I work primarily on the Eastside and Seattle (Issaquah north to Everett and Seattle areas.). However, because of my commitment to my clients and their trust in me, on occasion I have helped clients as far north as Stanwood, as far south as Federal Way and Tacoma, and as far east as Leavenworth and Ellensburg, and as far west as Kingston.

I was born and raised in Bothell Washington by my parents, Harlin and Barbara Peterson; I’m the second to the youngest of seven children. I value family, friends, hard work and play, commitment and integrity. Sharing my passions are important parts of my life. My biggest passions are helping others (especially with real estate), skiing, and mountain biking. My wife Jessica and I love skiing and sharing that passion with others by teaching others to ski. I also help train other instructors as a clinic leader for Professional Ski Instructors of America – Northwest Division. In 2010 Jessica and I became proud foster parents to then 10 year old Dylan and 11 year old Eryn, whom we’ve since adopted. With my wife, two children and two Labrador Retrievers, Tanner and Deuce, family life, work and play is very fulfilling.
