I don’t sell homes – I help people make good real estate decisions!
If you’re reading this bio, I assume you are looking for a real estate broker. Thank you for considering me. I realize that you have many people to choose from, so one question is, am I a good choice for you? The other question is, how do you determine this?
I think the best way is for us to talk on the phone, facetime, or better yet, in person. During that conversation we’ll get to know each other to see if we’re a good match. However, since you may not be ready for a conversation, in this bio you’ll find my experience, but most importantly, my business philosophy, which I’ll start with.
Business Philosophy
I learned many years ago that I’m not happy unless the work I do aligns with my values. Because of this, I chose to be self-employed most of my life which gives me the flexibility to align my occupation with my values instead of those dictated by an employer.
One of those values is to contribute to the well-being of others. Since homeownership is a key part of people’s emotional and financial welfare, this career gives me that opportunity. To do this, I provide advice based on facts and data, not platitudes. For instance, I can show you why the following common real estate advice is often either inaccurate or misleading:
“It’s better to buy than to rent”
“Now is a great time to buy”
“Buy a starter home and move up later”
“Location, location, location”
I believe that the advice I offer should be the same advice I would give myself, not advice that will help me make a commission by selling a home. For instance, when appropriate I advise people not to buy a particular home, not to buy or sell because of their current life circumstances (or wait) or advise them to change parameters to better suit the current real estate market.

About a dozen people have posted reviews about me on Zillow, which you can find at the link below. Please note that this Zillow account is listed a different real estate firm I worked with in the past, Reger Homes (I’m not sure how to change this).
